This Personal Data Processing Policy of “AR Maistas”, UAB in Lithuania (the “Policy”) is intended to inform you about the purposes and grounds for which we process your personal data, where we obtain your personal data, to whom we provide it and for how long we store it, what security measures we use and how you can exercise your rights as a data subject. In this way, we aim to ensure fair and transparent processing of personal data.

Your personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter referred to as the General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR ), the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on the Legal Protection of Personal Data and other legal acts regulating the legal protection of personal data and the activities of manufacturing companies and the services they provide.

Processing of data is necessary to achieve the legitimate interests of the data controller or a third party. “AR Maistas”, UAB understands that the confidentiality and protection of your personal data are of utmost importance. “AR Maistas”, UAB undertakes to process your personal data in compliance with the requirements for processing personal data set out in legal acts and to ensure the lawfulness of personal data processing actions.

The Privacy Policy is designed to protect your Personal Data from unauthorized use. "AR Maistas", UAB implements and constantly updates appropriate organizational and technical security measures that help protect personal data from accidental or unauthorized destruction, alteration, disclosure, as well as from any other unlawful processing.

5. How do we obtain your personal data?

In almost all cases, we process only the personal data that you provide to us when you use our website services. It is very important that the data you provide is accurate and correct. If you provide incorrect (false) data or forget it, it may be difficult for us to ensure the provision of goods/services, and there may also be problems in exercising your rights. We will not be liable for any damage caused to you due to you providing incorrect or incomplete personal data. The scope of personal data processed depends on the services you use and the information you provide. You are not required to provide any personal data, but it is possible that in this case certain services cannot be provided to you.

You should note that our website may contain links to the websites of other individuals, companies or organizations, and that “AR Maistas”, UAB is not responsible for the content of such websites and/or the methods used to ensure the Privacy Policy, therefore, before providing information about yourself, you should familiarize yourself with the rules, Privacy Policy and other documents of the relevant website.

6. What personal data do we collect and for what purpose?

"AR Maistas", UAB collects personal data about:

• persons who register on our website. By registering, you consent to “AR Maistas”, UAB collecting and processing your personal data in order to provide you with the opportunity to provide services and/or provide goods, respond to your inquiries, complaints, requests and administer your feedback, conclude and execute purchase and sale agreements, make refunds (if you return the purchased goods), as well as provide various benefits (discounts, etc.).

• social network users who contact “AR Maistas”, UAB in any way through “AR Maistas”, UAB accounts on social networks or actively participate in them;

• persons who express consent to receive our information sent by email.

• business entities necessary for business entities to establish, maintain and develop business, professional and other lawful relationships with "AR Maistas", UAB ; to conclude, execute and administer transactions, contracts and agreements; to defend "AR Maistas", UAB against claims, demands and claims brought against it and to fulfill its obligations and liabilities in accordance with applicable legal acts.

  
  7. In what cases may data be disclosed?

We undertake not to transfer your personal data to any unrelated third parties, except in the following cases:

• state institutions in accordance with the procedure established by the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania;

• to our service providers (including, but not limited to, IT systems maintenance companies, accounting services, archive services, event organization services).

"AR Maistas", UAB processes the following data of you:

• first name, last name;

• contact details (telephone number, address, e-mail);

• data on powers of attorney (representation) of customers, business partners, suppliers, other parties to the transaction and beneficiaries, including personal identification numbers, addresses, and contact details of representatives;

• aggregated and anonymized data, such as IP address, pages visited, browsing duration, devices and applications used for browsing, geographical location, age, gender, language, common interests, etc.

We process your personal data only within the European Union. We currently have no intention of transferring and do not transfer your personal data to third countries.


9. Data retention periods

The data will be stored for as long as necessary to fulfill the obligations for which they were collected. However, in any case, no longer than until you wish to be forgotten (i.e., until you yourself express your wish to terminate the processing of your personal data) except in cases where “AR Maistas”, UAB is obliged to store your data by law or other legal acts.

After these deadlines, the data will be deleted in a way that makes it impossible to reproduce it.

You have the right:

• to restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances specified in data processing legislation (when personal data is processed unlawfully, you dispute the accuracy of the data, you have submitted an objection to data processing on the basis of our legitimate interest, etc.);

• request to transfer your personal data to another data controller or to provide it directly in a form convenient for you (applies to personal data that you have provided and which are processed by automated means on the basis of a contract or consent);

• the right to object to the processing of your personal data if it is processed on the basis of legitimate interest, except in cases where there are legitimate grounds for such processing or in order to assert, exercise or defend legal claims;

• In cases where your personal data is processed on the basis of individual consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time.

11. Processing of personal data on the website (cookies)

Cookies are small text files that are sent to your device when you visit a website. Cookies help us recognize your device and help us improve the functionality of our website and make it easier to use.
